The   Cross-City   Line   is   a   suburban   railway   line   in   the   West   Midlands   made   up   of   a   combination   of   lines   opened   by different   companies   between   1837   and   1885.   It   runs   for   32   miles   from   Redditch,   Worcestershire   in   the   south,   to Lichfield, Staffordshire in the north, via Birmingham New Street.
