DUNCAN GRAY  (R8x40)  John Drewry  Rondel Book  1- 4 1s & 2s turn partners RH  5- 8 1s & 2s set on sides & 1s cast to 2 nd  place as 2s dance up with nearer hands joined  9-16 2s+1s+3s dance reel of 3 on sides with 1s crossing down RH to 3 rd   place opposite sides to start (2s out & down to pass 3s - LSh on Men's side & RSh on Ladies' side) 17-24 1s cross RH, cast RSh round 3 rd  corner position to meet partner in centre (after 4 bars) & turn LH 1½ times to face 1 st  corners while 2s+3s set facing diagonally inwards, dance RH across ½ way (out to corner positions after 4 bars) & chase clockwise to own places 25-32 1s dance ½ diagonal reel of 4 with 1 st  corners, pass RSh & repeat with 2 nd  corners 1s ending in 2 nd  place opposite sides 33-40 3s+1s+2s turn RH & chase clockwise ½ way to own sides
