This dance, published by the RSCDS in Book 2, is therefore traditional and danced to the tune “Speed the Plough”.  The Sunday Class experimented with teaching using animations and we learnt this dance and The Reel of the 51st Division ‘Aberdonian style’. Dancing 'Aberdonian style' means that everyone lines up all the way down the room - not in separate sets of 3/4/5 couples and are counted as either 1st couple or 2nd couple. The result will eventually be (if the band - and the dancers - have the stamina) that the original first couple will have danced from the top to the bottom of the room and everyone else will have also danced as first couple.
