THE DANCING SHEPHERDS (J8x32) Frank Coutts  St Mark’s Aberdeen   1- 8 1s & 2s dance Espagnole (1s end facing 1 st  corners)  9-16 1s dance ½ diagonal reel of four with 1 st  corners, pass RSh and dance ½ reel of four with 2 nd  corners (end in 2 nd  place opposite sides) 17-24 1s turn RH, 1M+2s (in 3 rd  place) and 1L+3s (in 2 nd  place) dance ½ reels of 3 across 25-32 1M+2s and 1L+3s dance RH across and then all dance a LSh snake: 1L, followed by 3L & 3M, dance through 3M’s place to original places then 1L casts to 2 nd  place while 1M, followed by 2M & 2L, dance through 1L’s place to original places then 1M casts to 2 nd  place, 1s pass LSh to start

This dance had appeared by 2008, attributed to Aberdeen St. Mark’s. St. Mark’s Church is on Rosemount Viaduct in Aberdeen, and the Scottish Country Dance class was started before 1964.
