The dance is inscribed to Allan Buik. From   January   1978   until   1987,   Fr Allan   Buik   was   the   vicar   of   St.   Mark’s   Church,   the   anglo-catholic   parish   church of   Kingstanding,   north   of   the   city   of   Birmingham.   When   he   left   Kingstanding,   he   joined   a   training   centre   in Yupukari, Guyana, training priests for the Guyana Diocesan Association. For   five   years   up   to   February   2012,   Fr   Allan   Buik   was   Chantry   Priest   at   Walsingham   (Norfolk)   before   moving   to Higham, Kent.
